LAYOUT
I designed the layout so it would remind the viewer of a newspaper layout or a comic out of the newspapers. I wanted it to feel spacious at the top panel ,in order to bring the reader in with the little information provided, then give them a heavy text which they'd be more than inclined to read. I wanted it to feel like an 'interview' between the two characters, and I used speech bubbles since it was very popular in the olden days to use speech bubbles when referring to characters or people. I was inspired by my research to use this text to give it a more 'bubbly' and 'playful' comic style. The two figures on the top panel are much bigger; that was intended because the scale is used to hook the viewer in. Its visually attracting because while there is lack of colors, the bold black colors make it stand out and catch someone's eye.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES:
The design principles which I tried to apply to my poster are Z styled fashion. The arrangement of my pictures and paragraphs are aligned in a way that the eyes follow the poster in a Z styled way just like shown below.
The text layout is very important in my poster as I needed to make sure to choose a structure that didn’t overflow my poster due to the lack of color, and the intense use of black and white. I used many spacing and italics in order for the text to be different despite the same font. I also involved some of my own writing to add a bit of personality and to divide the text so that it was blending in but didn’t overpower the rest of the text.
Overall I really like the poster and how it came out. Next time what I'd do better is not do it on one layer so I could edit any mistakes that appeared later (like having a border around the whole thing to show structure)
