This is my final design I decided to settle with. In my presentation I explained how I wanted to avoid doing a Illustrative piece and I wanted to lean into doing graphs just so it would seem 'cleaner' , also it would feel more satisfying and more fulfilling rather than just drawing an image because I like when my work is somewhat similar to others in terms of the same '''idea''' (Graphs,text etc etc)
While I wanted it to be similar, I also wanted to add my own touch of 'art' and 'playfulness' to the piece just so it looked like it was mine and represented ME.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this piece and the feedback I received was also really helpful. The few things I need to clean up are;
Make the Key chart a little cleaner and align the colors
Add more faces and '''characters'''
Add more things that I do during work all the way throughout to the end of deadline.
Hearing such positive feedback has eased my worries by a lot. The way I created this bar is I wanted it to not only relate to me, but most people. The idea of Games eating up my Desire to work is very relatable in a lot of context because I'm sure that everyone does it. Also the Sudden spark of motivation will have a different face, while the burn out bar will crash into the blue one and so forth. With these improvements, I will post what my 'finished' chart will look like in the next blog and what I have improved (or comparing it).
