During easter , I have decided to go away for a few days to spend some time in another city. The reason for this was the burnout I experienced to the same scenery, and I took no inspiration from the enviroment around me. To build a high-class city, I figured I needed to travel somewhere, where the architecture was much more culturally richer. I went to manchester, where the buildings were built from the product of the industrial revolution.

Manchester was known as the first modern 'industrial city' where the buildings are known to have minimal Georgian or medieval architecture. Many of the buildings were rebuilt following the 1996 IRA bombing-

Much of manchester started out as mills and factories, and the eccentric victorian vibe has been passed now to be the fewest cities with the most beautifully and pristine kept conditions.

As you can see, the more recent buildings have dipped into the more recent and modern architecture, giving it the mixed culture look that I strive to design for Avalon.

My main goal for Avalon, is to give it the feel that while they are rich and a high class - I want there to be distinct visions of different culturally built buildings. I want to show the 'cultural collission' through the buildings to show how the colide has impacted the surroundings.
