In the brief, we mentioned a possibility of sharing our exhibition online and all over the mall - however due to the general group being absent on spotted occasions, there wasnt a good time for us to properly discuss how we could advertise our poster.
I[Online]Advertisements -
> Advertisements dont reach everyone
> Not reliable in the era of adblockers
> Might act more like a deterrent
> Blocked in some areas
[In person]Advertisements -
> Advert by the use of subjects
> Food and drinks
> A small present like pens - might be expensive though
> Word of mouth
> Target audience = in a place where everyone is involved (not 4th floor only) (try to get a real gallery)
[In person]Populated area-
> Cafeteria
> Entrance of uni building
> Smaller parts of the building which wouldn’t be expected to attract the people through rumours, talking and hype
> Actual gallery used by students
> Inside the mall?
Exhibition-
> Make a fun and attracting poster
> Use wild colours, try not to blend in
> Wear something that stands out???????
> Need to make writing into pictures / diagrams. Pictures are the selling point (pictures speak louder than words)
> See How to make the poster interactive so the exhibition is engaging
I wanted to make the exhibition similar to what a 'book fair' stand would look like. OR a 'book signing' - I wasnt sure if making it seem like an exhibition was the right call, because I wanted people to engage with our work and see what we created.

Ideally, we could set up the exhibition in a similar way to give it that vibe, which might bring people in.
I asked the group what they think of this idea, and wanted feedback - here are the responses:
