Our group met up with a tutor to discuss where our project was going in terms of what we would produce for our exhibition. While writing our brief, we recieved an amazing idea of creating a artbook for our series. To showcase and display all of the work we weill be putting into this project. The idea works very well, and is a fantastic 'final piece' idea to pull it off together. We currently have a physical copy of: AVATAR: the last airbender and HORIZON: Forbidden west.

We continue to look at the book and reference what we may need for it, and the quantity and quality.

With this great new idea, there are however new factors that we need to consider.

- page amount

-Size of book

-Printing costs

-layout

-Will we sell it?

- How can zines be created from this

I have researched some of these to find out and give us ahead start. General Art books have multiple sizes which consist of : 9” X 10”, 8.5” X 11”, and 8” X 10”

Normally, art books have 192 pages, but there are books out there which go under or below the number; I suppose this depends on the quantity of the work and development. As a group, we have decided to aim at a MINIMUM of 50 pages, however, we are happy to exceed that depending on how much work we can produce.

We have contacted the printers building in uni, and have checked out the prices. I will do a budget sheet.
