After checking Avalons progress, I noticed that the design and lore made a major leap from when it was first in its 'prototype test' and to its finals few days.
One of the things that changed majorily was the architecture, as previewed in these two images:
The first image is the most recent one, the middle one is the one I did back in march and the bottom image was my very first test behind the idea. As you can see, it went from a utopia to a somewhat post-apocalypse Japanese inspired architecture.
The reason behind this direction was because I got inspired by a LOT of my surrounding architecture, and the idea behind green-architecture. My partner did a project regarding green spaces in architecture spaces and it inspired me to look for similar work.
In my previous research, I looked at Sustainable architecture and how nature can overcome its natural surroundings but still look presentable which is what Avalon is.
