When I begun researching for my graphic novel, I started experimenting with line work. The thought of lines then processed into images of spiders after I encountered one when I got home one day from work. I researched some games which used to scare me, and Limbo definitly reminds me how much just strings, coming down from the tip of the canvas used to give me the shivers. I ultimately came to the conclusion that its not always scary big monsters or creepy faces that give me the shivers, but sometimes its just dark lines coming out of the corner of a page.

I've watched play throughs of "little nightmares" because I really enjoyed the character designs. In my scary illustration, I want to design some sort of a 'shaped' figure that will very easily represent scale. I experimented with some images in my book based on these games and the whole idea of "lines".
